Introducing our Tutors -
Mr Hayat (Mathematics Expert)
​
I graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics in 2013 and then qualified with a PGCE in Secondary Maths in 2014. I have over a decade of extensive classroom experience teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5 Maths in the North-West. I have held many different leadership positions in the school setting, and I am currently responsible for the KS5 Maths provision at my High School and 6th Form.

I am also a qualified GCSE, Core Maths and A-Level Maths and Further Maths examiner for AQA and Edexcel for the past 6 years and as a result, I have thorough understanding and knowledge of how to tackle both the GCSE and A level exam papers, passing these skills and knowledge on to my students.

My friendly and approachable personality allows students to access my enjoyable lessons with ease and comfort providing both challenge and support to my students. I ensure my students reach their maximum potential whilst developing their confidence and knowledge in Maths.

My primary aim is to support you in excelling in your exams while nurturing a genuine enthusiasm for learning. I am dedicated to collaborating with you to fully grasp your specific exam requirements and objectives. Together, we will address complex concepts, hone problem-solving skills, and ensure you feel both confident and well-prepared for you exams.

Mr Gary Fredericks (English Expert)
I am a fully qualified English teacher with over four years of classroom experience in UK secondary schools, over six years of tutoring experience both in person and online. I am passionate about helping students discover the power of language and literature. I hold a BA in English Literature from University of Newcastle, where I developed a strong foundation in critical analysis, literary theory, and creative writing. This background has been essential in shaping my teaching approach and bringing texts to life for my students.

I completed my PGCE in Secondary English at University of Newcastle, gaining hands-on experience in local schools and refining my skills in classroom management, differentiation, and inclusive teaching strategies. Since then, I have worked to create a supportive and engaging classroom environment, helping students build confidence in their reading, writing, and analytical abilities. I am dedicated to preparing students for success in their GCSEs and beyond, inspiring them to think critically and communicate effectively.
